Katia is a registered nurse with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including ICU and Cath-Lab

environments. She is currently pursuing an advanced degree in Nursing Administration and Family Nurse Practitioner

certification. She is passionate about patient education and empowering people to take control of their health. Outside of

work, she enjoys hiking, running, and aerobic exercise.

Dr. Bossous is board-certified in Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and brings over ten years of clinical experience. He completed his fellowship training at UT Houston, Memorial Hermann, and MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.

Known for his compassionate care and excellent bedside manner, Dr. Bossous is deeply committed to patient education. He takes a holistic approach to managing chronic kidney disease (CKD), including practicing and recommending a plant-based diet along with other evidence-based lifestyle changes to slow disease progression and enhance quality of life. His goal is for every patient to leave each appointment feeling clearer and more confident about their kidney health.
